Even the Best Laid Plans....

... go to crap.

I had it all figured out & calculated so that I would be no where NEAR our mall in the month of December.

Cut to Puerto Rico. I turn on my Mac & check some stuff. I go to bed. I wake up. Gty turns on my Mac.... it beeps three times like some kind of alarm & refuses to turn on.

I fret.

I feel like my BFF has just died.

I lug the corpse around for the remainder of the trip.

I have to go to the freakin' mall (where the Apple store is) today.

Traffic is horrendous & it takes me a solid 15 minutes to find a parking place in the same zip code as the mall.

I have an appointment with the "Genius Bar" gize (reason #1647 to get a Mac).

Colin, who is 12, I swear, fixes my computer in a matter of minutes (bad RAM you gize, it had to be "re-seated").

I am now working on my cruise post. It would have been too much of a pain to post from my iPhone & like I wanna use one of the crappy PCs we have around here. No thankies.

So here we are. I'm knee deep in laundry but I'll do my post. For you gize. I'm sooper selfless this time of year.

I like your holiday up-do. Fix my blog too.

Also be lucky that you can drive to your local mac store. For us it takes 45 minutes and then some to get down there and even then you have to have an appt. a week in advance. So yeah, be happy.

Then again it don't be snowing where my apple care is given.

Glad you have your priorities straight.

We have several Apple stores, but I noticed they put a lil mini Mac store in Best Buy. They don't have the Genius Bar thingy, though. #1 reason to buy a PC: No bad RAM to reset. (I'm starting a list)

Memz, I HAD COMPUTER PROBLEMS. Gosh!

Q, what's yer password? ::drumming fingers together evily::

JESP, you do NOT want to get into a PC v. Mac battle cuz you will lose. Like, really bad. Is Best Buy still even in business? I thought they would fold after Gty & I refused to shop there ever again a couple of years ago. Interesting.

It's good to have you back. Sorry about your sick Mac. How did the kids do while you were gone? I'll wait here, refreshing, waiting for details. Wait--I have to go watch NCIS--then I'll be back.

Guess who I ran into at Walmart today? Anon. I think I scared her...

I hope you aren't offended that my first comment on your blog after being gone so long has nothing to do with you or your post.

Welcome home. I would go to any geek bar if I knew Chuck would be there. I would probably download the facebook virus on purpose if he were there.

AuntVisah, I'm glad to see your priorities are straight... geesh.

Katie, I think Anon is un-scareable and the opposite of weirdedout. It's one of those gifts they talk about in RS.

HotPants, is Chuck from that TV show? What's it called?
