I'm starting to think they kept the trailers all lame & melodramatic so gullible people like myself would take their expectations to a whole new low & then BAM! they'd hit you with an awesome movie.
Why am I such a sucker?
I don't care why.
I loved it.
So artsy in its cinematography. So hip in its dialog. So.... I dunno.... real, but not real.
Perfection.
I'll be dreaming of Edward tonight. No doubt.
I'm crushin' all over again.
::sigh::
I may even wake Gty up. tee hee.

Glad you loved it! I didn't have high expectations after the trailers.
Sam said that he heard decent reviews. Maybe I'll have to cave and take him to go see it. It was on my "wait for the DVD" list (since they charge $10/$11 for movies here...add a Megsitter and you're out $40 for a movie...it'd better be a GOOD movie)

I think they must not have seen it with screaming teens. That sealed the deal for me. I still love myself in the morning though.
I don't even care what the reviews said. It made me fall in love with the book (read: Edward) all over again. And I agree Queso, the screaming teenagers made it sooo much more fun.
ACK I won't even see it until tonight!!!! I'm so glad you gize liked it...I sat up most of the night worrying that I wouldn't love it.... YAY
Eh, I liked it, but love? I think I am going to have to watch it again. Especially the kissing part, over and over again.

I really did like it, but like you I wasn't expecting much. I guess not having relations for almost a year will make you love anything. My favorite part when they were in the parking lot and he put his arm around Bella and had his sun glasses on...I can't wait to see it again!
