Have you ever wondered what Landee sounds like when she's talking and not just typing? I have too.
Now you can find out.... and get some good American Idol talk too.
Go to iTunes.
Click Podcasts there on the left.
Search "TBB"
Select Thompson Backyard Baseball
Mine is the Morning Show American Idol.
This is big time, you gize. A nationally listened to podcast here.
You can also go here but it's not working very well for me today for some reason:

I welcome criticism. Just make sure you put it in a Critique Sandwich. A good thing (bread), a bad thing (cold cuts), a good thing (bread). It softens the blow.
For example:
"Hey Landee! I loved your podcast. You are so funny! Why do you say "you know" every other word? Nice take on Facebook!"
Flem just sent me a Critique Open Faced Sammich (one piece of bread).
Jespy sent me a Critique Salad.... no bread.
I have a tough skin though.
PS One thing you should know is Val is a brother of theirs and he served his mish in India. This will help you with a couple bits of mine.... yeah, you can see where this is going....

Loved it! You should definitely start your own podcast.
Thanks Sam! That was like a critique toast. No yucky pastrami in the middle.
Wow, you are pretty much famous now, and of course I am a little more famous 'cause I'm close to being your favorite uncle who is not related to you in any way.
=================================
I first learned your name at Memzy's when she began talking about a Tiff, and I looked at her like who in the heck are you talking about, and she clued me in to your true identity. Still, it's hard for me to get used to the name. You're like Nick Mitchell with your alter ego there.
It was also a shocker hearing your voice. Not that there's anything wrong with it. It just didn't match the face for me at all. Maybe it was your Tiffany voice, and you have a different Landee voice. Maybe your more like Tati with the multiple personalities? Or maybe it's just that recorded voices always sound a little different.
As for your analysis. I think you short changed Pixie a little bit. I'm a big Aretha fan, and that was a HARD song to sing. When I first heard what she was going to sing I thought it was a HUGE mistake, and that she would be done for. But that little white girl amazed me with how much soul she has in her. It was no Aretha, but it was WAY better than I thought it would be, and I think she totally deserved to get picked.
I also think Braddy Bunch got a raw deal. I didn't think he was forgettable at all, and he totally got shafted by the producers who gave him zero coverage until the night he performed.

Anyway, it was a lot of fun listening to the podcast and I look forward to your next report.
So when I said "I'm clamoring for more," and "ha!", that was all salad and no bread? I need to know before I release my official critique to the world wide web. Can't WAIT to hear your rascally lil voice next week.
^^Look at all the meat in Markie's sandwich.
Markie, I love the visual sandwich up there. I probably did short change Pixie a little bit but I'm starting to think you have a crush on her that will transcend any performance she gives. And yeah, my voice..... yuckituh. But srsly, what kind of a voice were you expecting? More sensual? Higher? British?
JESP, alright you threw some croutons in there. I totally forgot about the "Ha!"
And srsly, Markie... that is like a Critique Triple Decker Sammich. A leeeeetle hard to swallow actually.
More sensual definitely! Work on that.
To me you sounded just like Julie Scardina from SeaWorld (a regular on The Tonight Show), and she is a dark haired girl. I expected more of a Paris Hilton, or Jessica Simpson voice. Please let me know if I am coming dangerously close to a virtual slap across the face.
More like a kick to the groin.
I get it... you think all blondes are the same. I've got news for you buddy. We're not. Plus, I get my hair colored so IN YOUR FACE. My raspy Shamu lady voice is gonna have to do.
Got it ::said in a high pitched squeeky voice::
You did great! I feel kinda famous now because he mentioned your blog and i frequent your blog...
I think on your next podcast you should try to say the word flabbergasted for me.
Also, I thought your voice was fine. Maybe seeing you IRL helped soften the blow for me. Jealous Markie? I know you are.
It was totally a sandwich, I just don't have time to sit around and blog all day. I wish I did but I am just tooo busy.
I am hooked. But only if you can do a weekly AI broadcast. Tell the guy that no way no how is this new audience going to be interested in one more word about Arod.
If you guys relied on landeelu as much as I do for everything (she is like my mom and dad all in one) than you would already know that this was her "serious talk" voice. Looooved it.
It's true. Landee is Flem's parents.
And I told you how much I lurved it via text. But still. Can't wait til next week.
Lulu, Finally had time to listen to your podcast and I was whelmed over. It was awesome and I laughed out loud several times. It's so sad that you aren't more articulate, witty, funny, quick-on-the-draw. (I'm being sarcastic) You definetely need your own podcast/talk show/TV show. You're 10 times better than The Bonnie Hunt Show and she's funny as all get out. P.S. Listening to your voice made me miss you. Again, when is your next trip to Bako?
