Two Days of Bears: Day One

Someone got his Wolf and now, by default, is a BEAR!

The awkward pinning ceremony..... the back of the pin went down JBird's neckerchief there for a second.

Aaaand it's official....

I got all teary & now need to go put all his stuff in a shadow box or something.

Oh Momma Lulu, You've got a long way to go baby. It's just the beginning of special moments, scout honors, athletic stuff, girlfriends, missions,. . . . . . .big breath, breathe, breathe. Seriously, enjoy every minute.

I suggest some beans, rice, and a little baby's breath to really jazz up that shadow box. Congrats to JBird.

We just finished up our Wolf badge recently and I have to say that Scouts for me is a HUGE pain in the behind. I'm still trying to get a testimony of it.
But congrats to Jbird! And we all know you had a lot to do with that too. So congrats to you too.

I like the promise of more to come.
I just hope the next day has a little more umph. I suggest a story about Edward and Bella stalking and eating one. Just something to think about.

I love your sweater-BTW

We don't believe in scouts over here with our 3 boys.

You should see the comparison of my kid in his barely-wearable scout shirt against your kid with pressed-shirt-hat-kerchief-belt-perfectly-right. It'd be a great post.

Our Scouts like to chant "draw blood, draw blood" when they are having the pinning ceremony! Creepy huh?
